100k fans in a day?

Hey guys!
I've been doing some stuff with facebook for the last year and something. But I've never managed to do much with it.
Anyway, today I saw a brand new page with 103k fans. It was made 20 hours ago and it had 3 or 4 posts so it couldn't be a viral thing.
I've been wondering if this is done with simple likejacking or with something else? I mean, it took me almost a year to make a 100k page.
Any ideas how the fuck is this possible? Last week I saw a page that got from zero to 500k for a couple of days. Ehm.. ? Oh and let's not forget that the reach is a total disaster now...

In 24 Hours 100k is Possible. But You need 3-5 Providers with 10-20K Per day Speed. and that can cost you at least 300-400$ in 24 Hour.
 
Maybe these 100k likes are fake likes or maybe they are coming from a facebook clickjack script.
 
Or maybe he's using other pages (with a huge amount of followers) to cross promote his current page.
 
2 years ago, i collected 280k fans in 8 hours, fb unpublished page after few hours.
 
are they still existing ? check if they already didn't get removed ..

What do you mean ? Like merging a new page with an existing page and there we have a solid active new page? I don't think this is the case. Don't even think merging was ever a good idea as it always had its downside of getting the pages unpub at some point, not to mention they have to have the same titles.

I'm looking for cross promoting solid methods to build new pages. Got a nice amount of pages, close to 10 million likes.
 
every breaking rules will banned on FB, i 've been likejacking only 6000 fans and then gone after 24 hours
 
I know about the merging, I know about the promotion in other pages. I'm familiar with bots and likejacking. The page is still up and it is 145.8k already. And growing. I just don't get it. If one invests 400$ so he can get 100k fans in 1 days, how can he get his money back? A brand new page with 100k fans could be banned easily. Yet this brand new page doesn't reach the fans...
It should be something free. It can't be bot spamming - the page would've been banned by now. Damn!

i guess you should let him/her worry about that and move on.
 
Buddy those are fake facebook likes
You can check the page interaction to know the reality
 
I think they gave used click jacker to get such result..
 
Here's the page. It's probably likejacking. But the interesting part is that the page is still there...
 
If the Likes are real and they are getting likes form other page they'll stay and page will continue to be viral and post would get a lot of shares and likes with comments.
If its fake you'll only see rise in likes and rest of them will have dumb ass stats.
 
you can build a 100k page for around $400 with fb ads tbh
