100k email list, best way to monetize?

Hi. I have a list of 100k people who unsubscribed from my main business newsletter (no spam reports, just unsubscribe).

What would be the best course of action to make some use of these emails?

create a plan for selling a product or service maybe related to the niche you caught the lead
create and optimize a funnel and start cold mailing them on batch
so you can see the % of email that land , get in spam , and rate of opening and converting
And after you have this (maybe use a software for tracking that ) you can optimize the funnel further more or change the product service
if you choose good and this are first hand lead so not lead that get sold on marketplace you have a good chance

You can try sending a follow-up email asking them for feedback on why they unsubscribed and offer them a special discount or promotion to encourage them to re-subscribe. You can also use their emails for targeted advertising on social media or other online platforms. Just make sure to follow any anti-spam laws and regulations in your country.

Thanks. In this case, would it be the best for me to use a mass mailing software or manually send via Gmail?

You could find a relevant affiliate marketing offer, run a small campaign, see how it goes, then improve what works best.

for tracking i am sure you need to use some software , i am not an expert on this so you need to search around
but some example are

Salesflare , mailbutler, mailsuite​

you can start with gmail its more easy , by the way with gmail you have less probability to land in spam and you can also attach domain to it for having a custom mail

I tried this, but looking for some other methods. Curious what would be the best strategy here to run some sort of an email campaign from another domain. But I'm completely clueless how to do it correctly, i.e how to not get my domain banned

I think you can only use them again for ad targeting not for emailing again.

The 2 things: they may have unsubscribed for real or maybe the system took them unsubscribed off the list because of a bug or something ( I have experienced something like that also) , research to find out more about it if possible.

if it is the 2nd case I mentioned, correct the issue, just re-add them, monitor if this happen again.
if it is the 1st case, they don't understand clearly the message you're sending them, your angle, and your value you provide is not the way they need to correct their struggles, or something is wrong with resolving the problems that your specific audience (subscribers) . try different angles, ask them what they want, ask about their needs, find ways to have a more active (both ways) communication with your audience

Why not offer your 100k subscribers a second newsltter as subscription model ? Example Teal Swan she has a whopping 25k subscribers list (separated from her big big email list) who paying her monthly $79 retainer. She makes a few mnillion dollars every month from that low tier.

Offer your 100k subscribers a separate newsletter as subscription, based on your niche, like inlock mindset, life coaching or whatsoever your niche is about. When you have a good 40% open rate =40k people reading your email , then 8-10% will buy that newsletter subscription (must be target to your niche solve problems) that will be 3200-4k people paying you $100 month (example) you will make $400k every month ! That is a very scalable business model. Other services in high ticket price range, here you need to have weekly 1:1 sessiobns with your clients which can be exhausting, it's not very scalable as single entrepreneur, with that you can have max. of 40 clients every month.

Many entrepreneurs build up a huge stable newsletter business income.
Like Tim Ferriss too, he promotes affiliate products/ services I guess ?

Tiom Ferris a note: many people not know he was a new york times journalist for 12 years, then he wrote a book. But he has good access to top connections in the medie/journalist world, his "friends" connections made him and his book famous, they spread out the word for him. You and I we not have these connections. This is often, what "famous" people like Tim Ferriss and others not tell you ! Welcome to slave planet earth - that make sense....think about it.
