ok i have an optimized blog that shows adsense ads
there are no links away from my page other than the ads and a clickbank product (which is cloaked so you cannot tell its a clickbank product)

I have recieved ZERO sales for the product (which i can accpt though i think i am tearing my hair out about this secretly.

The real amazing thing to me is that all my posts redirect to the homepage (when you click on read more here) and yet still noone is clicking on any of the ads

Yes traffic is targeted using articles and SEO

I really cannot understand whats wrong
The website is well done and beautiful (using thesis theme with customized header, featuredgallery and stuff with reviews)
can anyone suggest any help?
am i just unlucky?

Would you mind providing the link to your website ? ...

A well optimized website is only the beginning.
I wouldn't consider you unlucky. Others who successfully attract a consistent income from only one website surely done there homework or had a very unique idea.

I haven't seen your website yet, so I cannot say for certain. Do you have any content or keywords chosen that might help direct the right people to your website?

Sometimes a well optimized page will lure many people, but many of the wrong people too.

It could be that the visitors aren't what you'd consider your ideal target market. Have you looked what keywords are bringing in traffic?

If it is the right targeted traffic and you're 100% sure of it, is it the type of market that would interact with ads? Could they be considered what you call 'ad blind' where they're so tech savvy they just don't naturally notice ads anymore. Or are they the target market that wouldn't dare touch things that they don't know - older generation etc.

Must be an extremely well optimized blog you have there :D

That's nothing unusual, to be honest. You can toot your own horn all you want about how good your blog is, but design isn't everything. Just because a site has some good content and design won't make me click its ads. I come, I read what I came for, I leave. I think the same logic applies to the 1000 visitors you claim to have.
