1000$ to Start an Autoblog(s)?

Hello,

What would you do if you had 1000$ to start an autoblog (one or more)?
Which tools or services would you buy to make an autoblog which could generate some money for you?

why autoblog if you has that money, try Micro Niche Adsense Websites from bst section, autoblog is hard today if you not found a good nichie + an update from google alg..

... don't even mess with it, really.
autoblogs are ok, for long term small cash, if you get some good keywords, it could be better
cash.
why not set up a full blown website, front site would be a blog, then have something like..
a shopping cart with related items, or .. well hopefully you get the point.

WP robot is ok. but personally, good content comes from the fingertips. not from scraped content.

autoblogs aren't bad, but try to go a bit further with it.

Was going to say same thing. Autoblog is pointless these days, google knows how to detect duplicate content and if your blog is constantly posting duplicate content then your website gets flagged and reviewed by google. If google sees it is just autoblog they will ban.

The micro niche website is the way to go. If you use other people's content you have to make sure you spin the content good enough that google won't know its duplicate content.

These days you have to make sure site look top quality (ie. good design), good unique content and good quality backlinks.

The reason you have to do that is because google now uses humans to review websites.

Forgive me my ignorance but what is "bst section"?

It's buy sell trade section

$1000 is a ton of money to start some brand new nice unique websites. Autoblogs take a ton of time to rank and they are not easy to monetize.

Do proper keyword research and find some good keywords (reasonable exact search, high CPC, and so-so competition), buy the domains and outsource article writing. Outsource some good backlinking as well.

5 sites with 10 unique articles each + domains + hosting + SEO work is a good start, and you will have cash left over to build on them when you see which ones are the 'winners'.

If you have $1k to invest in an online business, you could multiply that so many times with the correct knowledge and correct budgeting. But dont spend a dime until you analyze your potential business model. two reasons and quotes:

First, Murphy's Law:
"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong".

And Secondly by Winston Churchill:
"He who fails to plan is planning to fail"

Lastly as others have stated Google made an algo change and from my understanding autoblogs have supposedly been hit hard. I think you've already missed that boat, unless you start creating semi-auto blogs....

But honestly u only need about 10 heavy hitting sites and invest in tools to support them and you will definitely bank hard and make over that investment back without even needing to spend that much.

on daily basis. But if you are saying that it takes a lot of time, then it is so I am just simple guy with some IM knowledge looking to reinvest my money

I would recommend going with micro niche and adsense..

Autoblogs did and still doing well. But, why start with it now when Googles put it in their top "kill" list?

Those that are already into it have no choice but finding ways to survive each algo change, and they accumulated enough knowledge to do so, but for a newbie I'd say you should put your money elsewhere.

Dude... just study around this forum for everything you need to do to have a successful campaign. If you want to not do that much work, outsource some of the offline methods(is that a first? lol), or find some simple methods to outsource online and sit back and manage your team.

I still recommend you get a good understanding of the skills you will be asking for from your outsource clients so you know that the job will be completed correctly and effectively.

Lastly, buy some services from the BHW community. A lot of them are much more skilled than even me in most departments and I have been cramming for months nonstop plus im a speed reader. I would consider using them to help build your business but again, I still doubt u go over that 1k unless you are trying to hit 10k in a month....

Personally, I would make a few dozen small but niche-specific autoblogs. Pick common but specific niches that relate to topics like real estate, auto sales, health care, business advice, web hosting, gadgets, etc.

When you are small Google never notices or cares about you but you can easily get to PR3 or PR4 with a good linking strategy. Even if you cross-link your own sites again if you are small Google won't notice or care.

Make the sites look professional with some premium themes and carefully select your keywords. You don't need thousands of posts on your site, just a few per week. You may not even want to bother with ads; the sites won't get enough traffic to make money from them.

After a month or so your sites will start ranking quite well and you can start selling topical links to other people. In fact, once you start ranking high in the SERPs you will get people contacting you. You could easily make at least a hundred dollars a month from each site if you do it right.

If you are careful and keep your sites under the radar they will do quite well over time. I once had a stupid root beer recipes site that was up for several years and made me a couple thousand dollars. I'm not talking a couple thousand a day like other people claim around here, but over a few years with no effort times dozens of sites is decent income.

Now if you had a few thousand dollars more I would suggest buying some professional content or news feeds and using an autoblog with a professional theme to build a real site that people would actually visit. You will be ranking PR4+ in no time and will get enough traffic to make good money from your advertising.

If I already had an blog that was making and showed promise of making big money, I would invest in outsourcing for backlinking and the usual stuff you would do to promote any other blog/website.

$1000 bucks would easily get you a virtual assistant for a month working 10 hrs a day.

Just my 2 cents.
