$1000 Potential Clients Wants To Call. How Can I make them email instead?

    Hi guys

    Recently, I nearly got a sale for $1000 for a product on one of my websites.
    He asked me to please call him.
    I am nervous not of calling him, but that I'll sound bad and lose the sale.
    Is it better to say that we only email so that everything is traceable for a higher level of service or something similar, or do I just have to call?

    I've also got an Aussie accent and he is from USA. Not sure if this will be an issue.

    Any advice right now would be incredible.

    Dude if you have a potential $1,000 sale on the table just pick up the phone and call the guy. If I were the customer and you said "sorry we only email", I would think something was sketchy and probably go somewhere else.

    If you know your products well enough, you should have no problem closing the sale.

    On another note, I like your username. Fuck GoDaddy :)

    wtf be happy he doesn't plan to come round and visit your office. Call him, if you fuck up and lose the sale, then you will gain experience and next time will know how not to fuck up. welcome to real life buddy. Nail it and get that sale, be confident in your products, service, be professional.

    Thanks for allowing me to see I was being a pussy, arranged to call him tomorrow.

    On a further note, I nearly made another sale of $600 on website, however while they went to my paypal page they did not finish the transaction, should I be calling these people as well?

    The smart move would be to commission someone with the necessary skills to handle the calls for you.

    Yes, call those other people, it might just take a 5 min call per failed transaction to close the deal. Once you at least start figuring out how to incorporate the process of calling clients with transactions of over $200, and failed transactions, then you can just get a part time e-receptionist, (obviously a hot chick!!) who calls and purrs these pussy cats into parting with their cashio

    Where do you suggest finding these people. Wouldn't that result in a permanent mental crutch?

    Record their calls and replicate their approach. All great salespeople start somewhere. ;)

    Most of the time people request a call because they want to make sure your operation is legit. Make the call all you have to lose is a sale if you don't!!
