100 Phones GMB SEO?

So I'm sure you've all seen the guy who wheeled around 100 phones and created a traffic jam. I'm sure some of you have also seen Holly Starks on SEO signals lab recreating this experiment but attempting to use it for SEO purposes. Someone mentioned that other members here have been already testing it. Can anyone link me to those threads or the results?? It just seems way too easy to game Google with only 100 phones and then doing things like requesting driving directions to a local business to hopefully increase rankings. Thoughts??
