$100 month from 100 daily hits? Realistic average?

So I have an very soft adult-themed blogger, 500 uniques a day, haven't made a dime. So I googled "monetize site with 500 hits per day" and this came up:

(can't post the url because I'm new, but it's the 1st hit)

Claiming "Realize that on average, you will earn around $100 per month from 100 daily visitors"

Um... WHAT?! I wish.

So I am asking all of you... is this what I should be expecting? If so man I'm missing out big.:eek:

Unless your offering sex goodluck with those figures. Or Unless you have a hard to beat boneus.

I'd say with all things optimized you could potentially see 10%.

Also, lookup the 80/20 rule. It's a good read
 
Depends on how targeted the traffic is.

If its a site where your main keyword is something like:

Where to download "Product"
Where to buy "Product".

Its achievable but you need super targeted traffic :)
 
You know like everyone says here it depends but based on the information you are giving we would all probably say no. but the best way to find out is to try. Maybe you make less at least you make something. Peace.
 
Yep achievable with super targeted traffic and it all depends on how you monetize the site.

100 hits a day for "buy viagra" is going to make you some nice coin. If you redirect that traffic straight to a nice viagra sales page and order form you could get 1-2 sales (or more) per day at $100 a sale.

100 generic adult hits a day isn't going to make squat.

Some ballpark figures:

500 hits a day to your adult blog
10% CTR on your ads (banners and text links) to your sponsor = 50 hits a day to your sponsor.
1:2000 conversion ratio (not uncommon for generic adult traffic) = 1 sale every 40 days
1 sale = $30 / 40 days = $0.75 / day

Now obviously you can increase your revenue substantially by improving your CTR or finding better sponsors, but that's a rough idea of how it works.
 
You need to focus on optimizing your site for the traffic. Its ridiculous you havent made ANY money, Im going to guess you either have your ads hidden or in places people mentally block out (don't ever use standard ad sizes, test a variety of sizes). Test different banners, placements, ads etc and see what starts to convert.

I made $150 from 30 visitors from organic traffic yesterday and it was a small site of mine, you should have NO problem making at least a few dollars. good luck

If you could make a buck for EVERY visitor we would all be millionaires and paid traffic would be boukou high.

That sounds good, what are you using to make money on it? More specific is better because I'm a supern00b.

My site: softcore free images of a very specific fetish. It's been marked as adult by adsense. Should I run Blacklabelads?

What I've tried so far:

-banners for a paid site CPA
-Clickbank banners for dating products

No actions on those after 2 weeks of either.

You should be sending your traffic to:
* a high quality paysite in your niche (or a couple if there are a few good paysites).
* an adult dating offer
* a cam site

Spread your ads out across all of your offers and play around with them until you get a good CTR and start making some money. You don't mention how much traffic you're sending to your sponsors but I assume it's not that much. You will need to send at least 2000 clicks to a sponsor before you can decide what is good and what's not, otherwise you'll just skip from sponsor to sponsor and you'll never know whether you've found a good one or not. Time ("a couple of weeks") isnt' a godo measure of conversions, only the number of clicks sent is.

I am learned. I've been working with a high quality paysite for the niche, only 80 clicks so far in 2 weeks. Yuck! I guess I'll put ads under blog title posts.
 
It all depends on how the site is monetised, but $100 for 100 hits would be very difficult for adult traffic, I could only see this figure being possible if you have an affiliate link for a fairly expensive product.

The person claiming that figure probably wanted to sell you his method, I doubt he's actually making that much from that traffic.

Refering to daily hits and $ per month. I think you read it wrong.
 
There is absolutely no way to make $100 per month from 100 hits per day in adult niche, if you want to be WHITE HAT.

Still, if you haven't made anything from 500 UV a day, something must be wrong
 
About half of traffic is coming from a forum, maybe people aren't motivated to buy into the adult site.

I was thinking of "content locking", like Dollarade next. I have applied for an account there.

EDIT: I may have used the term "cpa" incorrectly in the OP. I meant an adult paysite.
