Say I have $100 to invest in Crypto, what do I buy?
There's so much hype are the meme coins, but I want longterm investment.
Where's the best place to put it?
WARNING: NOOB TO NOOB, AVOID IT EXPERTS.
Look man, I can't even say this is not an investment advice, because this is what you are asking for. Let me put it in another way.. Just considering I am you..
1. 100$ can work. I started with $150 and I am over $1k right now in like 2 months . I am a programmer by profession, so what I care about are "statistics" and "logic". First off, I would avoid any "scam" exchanges. In my experience, binance is the one that has the most "volumes" of cryptos right now. I went for them, but do DYOR (means, do your own research... mumbo jumbo huh.. get used to it lol).
2. This may not be the industry standard, but I consider the "rarity" of a coin to be the determining factor of investment primarily. How to know? Easy! Go to coinmarketcap.com and click on circulating supply twice (first time it should sort as descending, then acesnding; where the lowest one is on top). They are the rarest ones. Given everything, they are the hardest to find (if one becomes a coin that is sought after).
3. On the contrary to my last point, I took some risks when I started. My initial goal was to double my money, by hook or by croock. I would still take risk if I see doge at a very low price, coz I can make some money out of it. This is your call being an investor.
4. I buy at my price, not at what the "market" might be going for. Usually, I target a price between the lowest price the coin was going for in the last 24 hours, vs in the last 30 days. Then I sell it for higher price, when "whales" are battling for sperm donation. This stat is available on coinmarketcap as usual, look for it. Same goes for what is currently happening with that coin for the last 7 days. If I find a coin in "red" color graph in the CMC (coinmarketcap) index, I would avoid it for the time being.
5. Keep my ears open. BHW has some great updates to be honest, but you will have to filter through it. Don't trust anyone! Trust yourself, and your decision.
P.S> MOST IMPORTANTLY -> I will never invest in a coin that is not available on Binance. Yes, I care about my money. Sorry.
