$100/Day Or I'll Kill Myself
I was just kidding the kill myself part...
This is my third attempt to complete a journey after abandoning the other two. Nope, no more abandoning this time, as it seems the right way has found me.
The method
Old school Pinterest-Amazon relationship + a little twist of mine.
The research
The second failed journey was actually a test run of this method. In a whole month, I learnt a lot. For example:
- Multiple accounts are not necessary. Of course I could squeeze a little more chance out of it and stay safer, but too much management has to be done, and I'm messy.
- Linking is no more a problem with business account since I can promote my site as much as I want. The only downside is people doesn't like this kind of account
- Niche is very very important. I need to give my audience a desire to click. Fashion doesn't work, because they don't need to visit my site to view a picture.
- Following is not as effective as it was anymore, people are now aware of being spammed. When they see your following is much higher than followers, you're done. The more effective way is pinning quality stuff and licking butts to join large group boards.
- Messaging can be interesting. I found out that Pinterest community is quite open. I once sent my followers a new board and they were happy to give their thoughts back. The process is a pain though. Finding friends on Pinterest always sucks.
The setup
- An e-commerce site (Amazon stuff ofcourse).
- An authorized business account on Pinterest.
- A bot
- That's it
The plan
Pin, add products, repeat.
I also create a mini social site where people can post lists of interesting stuff and the others will vote which is the best. I will utilize my FB fan page for this. Not innovative, but it might help.
The result
Wait what? That fast?
