it's made me start thinking about what I might be doing wrong on a particular site I'm running (actually its one that I build based on your emd case study - it's getting quite good visitor numbers, but performance of CPA offers is very poor).

There are some surprising findings in there too, one or two that seemed counter-intuitive. Just goes to show, no matter how good we are doing there's always room for improvement.
I'll be reading that more than once over the next few weeks.
It is always like that. If you get traffic but not revenue somethings wrong. It could be your design, content or copy or you could target not converting/buying keywords.
