100 Best Free SEO Tools & Resources

I have only several sites to check on regular basis, so I sticked with ahrefs since 2012. Some guy on WF told he checks his backlinks with Moonsearch. Its free. Has anyone tried it?

Very helpful for those who don't know where to start. Should be stickied imo.

I think ahrefs is the best. You can also try webmeup, they are investing a lot lately in their tools and it's pretty good.

Couple more to add to the list

Woorank dot com - Free SEO and Speed analysis of your website, once per week, plus a free backlink!

Traffic Travis - Free keyword analysis tool, much better than using Google's new keyword tool.

Wow, there are some great tools on here I had no idea about.

Best FREE (...)? The title is a bit misleading.

That's a really nice and comprehensive list. But many of these services are on freemium model if not entirely paid. The title was a bit misleading for sure.

I would have liked seeing Sociota in it as well... it offers more free goodies than the similar services mentioned.

Super cool website and service. I'm a huge fan/user of Buffer about to pull the trigger on their $10 a month. I think there is a lot of potential in that market and your service really seems to cover all the bases extremely well. Wish you a ton of success. I wish I knew you better and wasn't so paranoid about signing up with services! Looks really great!

This is a huge list of free resources with regards to SEO. :) But for someone to completely use all its features, upgrading your membership or paying them on a monthly or annually basis is one of the options.

Yes, a lot of them are freemium but you can test them and see if you have any use of those tools before paying for them.
