100,000 subscribers without videos. how does youtube allow this?

imagine all the hardworking content creator's out there that work day and night to hit 1k to 10k.

these guys with just such names like "100k subscribers no videos" etc get 100k or very high sub counts just becoz of their name and probably spams their comments on famous youtube channels and trending videos, and people simply sub to him coz his channel name very catchy.

many other channels with similar names exist like channels named like "1 million subscribers without videos challenge"etc. they have many subscribers.

but yes we are here to discuss these methods. but im, suprised that youtube has no problem with it.
becoz these guys will use this method as a shortcut to gain subscribers then upload their content later once they got enough subs. nice idea.

but this confuses me and makes me feel sad for some channels that get terminated for silly reasons and sometimes unknowingly.

this channel is an example of a bigger violation that falls under "scams, spams and deceptive practises"

these type of channels are totally unfair to hardworking content creators when you can simply game the system and grow with such shortcuts

May not be fair but if it works it works.

Anyway as soon as they upload a video they will lose their subs I think, because they will unsub .

Well its comes under Inactive account policy

the account may be reclaimed by YouTube without notice

Inactivity may be considered as:

Not logging into the site for at least six months
Never having uploaded video content
Not actively partaking in watching or commenting on videos or channels

no he is active on youtube by spamming comments section. that's how he is getting subscribed. so he can't be claimed for inactivity

Never having uploaded video content = comes under Inactive account policy.. so his channel will be reclaimed soon.

it comes under that policy but that doesn't make sense what if u r only a viewer account And comment on videos?
all those accounts will be reclaimed impossible. there are so many youtube viewers that only watch

Those channels are not monetized so Youtube couldn't care less, or is even happy about them as they have active community pages, which position Youtube as social network, not just video sharing platform. No idea why you cry about it tho - after all its not like I am thinking "hmm should I subscribe to this content creator OR this for shits and fun no video page". Creators are NOT losing subscribers because of this.

well those Channels are not monetized but right after he gets enough subscribers he will start uploading videos. that's what he even said in a community post u can see his channel but nice trick though.

i found another channel that hit 1 million subscribers without videos but he got banned. and Google acknowledged that his type of channel was against terms of service. there was a post related to that i saw.

but just wondering how this guy is staying up for so long. now a days I've seen many channels with these names and they have many subscribers and they will post once they have enough.
but its a good exploit they r using.

Dude that channel didnt reviewed by Youtube staff yet. if someone reports his account to yt i am sure his account will be takedown within few weeks.. if you wanna takedown that channel just report him.. Simple as that
