    Hey guys

Ok so i have quite a few articles at my disposal. Some are dups but most are unique and some spinned.

So I am thinking what should i do with all these articles?? I don't want to sell them off. I want to create a site with them! The obvious answer would be an article directory but there has been a few people saying that article directories don't have power in the search engines anymore! :( Or since the last google algorithm change! Is this true? Will i struggle to get search engine traffic to it??

How about if i create a huge general niche site and have sub categories and sections and list the articles in there. Will that also be seen as an article directory even though i don't mention the words on the site or the url or I don't allow people to submit their articles?

I don't really want to go down the create lots of mini site route. I'd rather have one or two big authority type sites.

    Any ideas would be great.

    many thanks

I dont think a site is an "article directory" or a "content farm" until Google identifies it as such. If you build a site with them don't ever include the words article directory and see what happens.

I think there is a wordpress plugin that will auto post articles from your hard driver.

    Thanks for the reply.

So from what you are saying, a article directory or farm is a bad thing to have? not good at getting high serp placement?

Someone correct me if I am wrong but as of the last Google spider update all of the article directories dropped heavily in serps.

I drove a guy from Google and he referred to this as Googles wish to not favor what he refered to with an air of dis corn as "content farms" he even went so far as to refer to yahoo and aol as "content farms". It's like they are saying that too much unrelated content will hurt you in the long run?

If It was me and I had 100k articles I would just get the WP CTR theme and use that plugin I mentioned to post 5-10 of the articles every day and see what happens. If it works great.. if not.. what did you lose?

If you were to add 100 articles a day, and keep the spinned articles to a minimum. You could possibly make a lot of money.

Create about 1000 autoblogs on subdomains and then post 1 article per day on each blog

May I know why people suggesting OP to put it into Article Directory rather than create blog?

I prefer to create a blog and see which niche is the best then I will optimize that one.

Many thanks for the replys guys.

Look like the general consensus is to create multiple blogs to put teh content on. Seems like alot of work to manage all these websites.

Is opertating an article directory really that bad??

I think if your going to run them on multiple blogs see if you can separate them by niche and use one of plugins that will post content from a folder 5-10 a day.

You need a system which reads the articles, categorizes them into your choice of categories which you set up. The program then automatically sorts them.

Then - the program can distribute your articles over any number of domains - you provide it with templates for the style - the program then drip feeds (or blasts the lot up) up for you.

Zero known footprint due to templates done by you.

Zero php or anything like that - just autogenned html pages which grow over time.

I wrote this 4 years ago and do quite well with 30,000 articles.

I can set all this up for you - for no money - just advice on SEO or links maybe?

It would take me around a week of working together to sort it.

    Hit me up.

    Cheers
