10 Year old domain and Sape Links

I have a client that has a business established for approx 18 years and their domain has been established for 10 years, same whois, constant website, specific to their market sector 1000's of pages and this year the client wants to push for a big uplift in search placements.

Naturally they rank on page 1 for over 2000 keywords however these are the smaller keywords and the bigger keywords are page 2 - 10.

My question - Is SAPE network still achieving the results and would you use these links on this type of domain ?

Sape combined with other link types may work even better, link and anchor text diversity is important i guess.

I would suggest to get diversified links, not only SAPE links.

Just to add my 5 coins: you can choose the age of domain while searching for the links in Sape.
So you can choose only the oldest domains there)
