Hello,
Can any one advice me if I use link 10 or more profile links will it help me in ranking ?
Or they are just worthless ?

You can use it as part of your SEO effort and to diversify your link profile. However purely as a ranking power they dont have much effect.

The "edu" aspect isn't the important bit. The only important bit is the age and authority of the sites. Generally, EDU and GOV domains tend to be on older, aged sites, with lots of content and lots of natural links pointing to them across the internet - that alone makes them valuable. However, without analysing each domain, using a backlink checker. etc., you're wasting your time/money just throwing links up there.
