Whenever I'm scraping public proxies I normally filter by country and then port.

I firstly remove all Chinese as there are many false positives for whatever reason.

I then filter to ports 80 and 8080, I find these two ports to provide max google passed proxies within an efficient timescale.

Some people use more port ranges, I just figured I would zero in on the most likely secure proxies in order to save time, but I do miss lots of good sources this way.
