10,000,000 backlinks...

Hi all,

Was sent this blog update in my email and it really made for an interesting read... It makes me wonder can "businesses" that "promise" to deliver thousands of backlinks for a certain price can really deliver...

Since the blog post can say things a lot better than I can, here is the actual post I read: .

I have paid a small handful of services to build backlinks but even 6 months on I don't see "any" results (even with all the SEO software I do have installed, as well as Yahoo site explorer and Google etc). Am not saying anyone here wouldn't deliver on their promises (I do know how hard it is to rank in Google via backlinking etc) but this post gave some food for thought. Your views on this are appreciated not only by myself, but the many others that are most likely pondering over the same thing...

10000000 backlinks offer, that must've been suspicious. what was the guy thinking?

doesnt look too unrealistic.. my copy of sb and my current comp and internet connection tries to make about 15k links per hour.. thats almost 450k a day.. not saying that many actually get made but um if you had multiple versions of sb running and lists of places to leave links handy i think its totally possible in say a month or two tops. then of course those 10 million links arent all going to stick. and you would prolly be spanked by google cause 10 million links in a month or two is not natural lol.
