I am struggling to get my new wordpress website dave-matthews .com indexed in Google.

I have submitted a sitemap over a week ago but I am still not indexed.

Anyone have another method for getting indexed quickly?

Submit to Digg. The Google Bot practically lives there and you will be indexed in a few hours.

    You are indexed:
    Code:
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site%3Adave-matthews.com&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=

There appears to be a space between "dave-mathews" and ".com"

Remove the space, worked for me.

I can see the website if I use site:domain search in google like your example, however I don't get anything at all if I type the domain name directly into google.

Are you sure the site is indexed? What is the most reliable method to check this?

You don't see it when you type in the domain directly because google is removing the hyphen from your search phrase. With the hyphen removed, there are simply too many results ahead of your domain.

The method I gave you, using the boolean operator site:domain.com is the most reliable method, trust me.
