Buying $1 PBN's is probably like buying 1/4 ply toilet paper to wipe your bum.

They are good just to index low tiers, but not so good to rank. There's a reason they sell a link for $1 each.
 
Let me ask you this. Would you rather eat food from a gas station or go to a fancy restaurant?

In this case, the $1 PBNs are the food from the gas station. Hope this helps.
 
Your site will die sooner or later if you use links like that :)

But these might be awesome for low-budget churn and burn.
 
If you want to use that for a money site then
congratulation your site is going to get banned by google.

You might use it for tier 2 or tier 3.
 
Do not expect miracle with 1$ pbns. They will be ideal for churn and burn sites though.

It means staying away from this kind of service to use on your money site. These kind of backlinks are useless and harmful for your money site.
