Hi guys,
I'd like to get into website flipping. My debut is a tech website I started a month ago which has:
1. around 60 unique blogs, 20 of them 5k+ words
2. about 2 visits a day currently
3. Comprised of tuts about the linux os, kali linux and opensource software.

What's the approximate market value of this website in its current state?
The domain is brand new with 0 backlinks. If I were to build backlinks, what might it achieve in 3-6 months in terms of traffic. Your opinions are much appreciated.

There is too many factors that impact on final result to predict where you can get.

How well did you do kw research?
What backlinks you will buy?
How well is your on page optimization, interlinking?
How great is your content is etc.

Any assumption based on provided data will be inaccurate.

Even if u give more info, still you never know how Google will act in terms of serp.

These questions you need to answer yourself, through your own testing, to determine what the value is in the marketplace. A couple of visitors a day isn't much I have more than that on sites that I never built backlinks to yet. I wouldn't expect the value of the site to be anything except the pot of gold in your own mind until you can bend that into reality, and PROVE that it makes money. Then you can flip a site for 24-36+ months of earnings. But come on, don't put the cart before the horse as they say.

Make a detailed research list of your top 20-30 competitors, and ensure you have as much content, or as regular updates as them in the medium term.

Anywhere between 100 to 5000$ depending on how good the content is and whether the buyer deems it valuable.

You mention you have about 5k words on 20 posts. That makes it about 100k words. Assuming that it's good quality and the remaining 40 posts make up another 100k, you now have a site with 200k words of decently good content.

It would cost atleast $2k for that much content alone ( minimum 1 cent per word for a decently good entry level writer). But content is ubiquitous these days. And content alone won't get a good buyer.

People these days solely buy websites these days on a cash-flow multiple basis. So if you make no money, it's really difficult to get a buyer for your site.

Depends. The sky is the limit honestly. Your traffic will depend on whether you get lucky enough to come out of Google's proverbial sandbox quickly in a month or two and whether google thinks your backlinks are valuable.

If you do that right , and choose low to medium competitive keywords, i have seen sites getting 5-50k visitors in monthly traffic in a year. It's wildly variable.

You should work your site for a while more you have a decent quantity of content right now and it should start the snowballing effect once google picks up your site. Make some backlinks, get some frequent social media running and get your website to a couple thousand visitors a month. That should be enough making anywhere between $200-500 a month in ad revenue and once you have that you can easily sell the site for $12-15k or more.

You wont get anything besides the value of the domain at current, even if you have put in allot of work and effort. If no traffic then it is worthless as most will compare your traffic to a value on CPA and what they can achieve with the traffic you obtain. Also, location location location, if you only get traffic from sub tier 2 and 3 countries your value is also less than tier 1's. So if you planning to build something and sell it later, make sure you cater for the larger and most valued tier markets.
