1 Million Followers!

Just reached 1 Million Followers with a combined 104 IG accounts since October/November 2015 using MassPlanner (initially FL upto 100K Followers)

Monetization will begin next month with setup of aliexpress dropshipping website (not affiliate).

Micro-Niche and 300 products have already been chosen.

Most products cost .50 cents to $4. Will sell for $12-$25 and include free shipping in the pricing.

I will pay extra for the e-Packet shipping.


For website infrastructure I started with
Wordpress + Woo Importer
Pro's - all my products are downloaded.
Con's - doesn't do variable products (s, m, l, xxl, etc). Doesn't do checkout. Checkout must be manually entered by VA or me. If my product gets big results, I'm looking at 5-10 hours of manual entry work a day.


Considered or Considering

AliPlugin
Pro's - Same as Woo Importer
Cons - Only does Affiliate. Cannot Markup prices. If a soccer ball cost $1, it sells for $1, and you make 5% of that $1, instead of marking the ball up to $20.
I won't be doing this.

AliDropShip Plugin (not available yet)
Pro's - Same as Oberlo. Imports any product. Can markup all products manually or automatically. Checkout takes under 1 minute per order - nearly completely automated.
Con: When will this actually be available tho?

Oberlo + Shopify
Pro's - Its available now
Con's - Cost. Shopify + Oberlo may cost around $200-$300 a month. The other options will cost $20 a month. Shopify also has many plugins that may be necessary to increase quality, these cost another $50-$150 a month. Many of these plugins are available for free, or one-time payment in Wordpress.

Maybe not the best option for a store just growing, but a great option for a store that will get a lot of traffic.

1M/104 accounts=9615 followers/acc. Those accs are very small posting unoriginal content and they lack authority. Also, you are doing Aliexpress products.

If I were you, I would worried about the conversion rate before I get too excited.

+1 to this. 1 million followers is awesome, but across 104 accounts is less than exciting. Best of luck regardless OP

1M is an awesome number but it took you 9-10 months to get to an average of 10k per account? When done right (with botting) it can be done in 2, max 3 months.

1 million wasted on horseshit accounts which realistically have around 10% fake/inactive accounts anyway from botting collateral. AVG 9K to the naked eye looks poor.

Well, with around that many followers on even more accs than OP, i was making $250-$300/day with spamming CPA offers a few years ago. It was an untargeted, but active audience.
I wouldn't call 1M targeted followers horseshit even when it's on 104 accs, you just need to find the best way to monetize.
I'm not saying that CPA is a good way of monetization nowadays on ig, but if Aliexpress doesn't pan out well for the OP, he can still try something else, maybe entirely different.

Game is different nowadays I guess.

He can spam the shit out of it with CPA and make some bucks, but he can also say bye bye to his accounts on short term.

selling shoutouts is best way to make money with huge accounts. CPA may cause account banned and selling product is not easy. I wish you good luck.

My largest accounts are 17K, 50 above 10K, and 20 in the 8K-9K, and the rest are below 8K

Besides attempting to sell a product, I can use the larger accounts to help the smaller accounts sprout even faster.

Brainstorming here....I don't think the Account has be an authority account. If I get a click, and my website looks, feels, and acts like an authority website, that should more than make up for my account not having 500K followers. And if I go the web professional route of capturing email addresses with a free gift offering, having bi-monthly drip sales emails with coupons and promotions, I can grow this baby into something substantial. Connect that with those ads that follow you onto FB, and boom, after 3 or 4 times of targetting ads, more people will buy. But this is all standard SEO Web Sales 101 which you all know.

Dude, I hope your plans pan out. I see people are "worrying" about you already, but I guess you need start pushing the products and then you'll see what your actual conversion rates and so on are. The fact that it took you longer to get to higher numbers might mean that you didn't push it too much and ended up with higher quality followers. Keep us in the loop when you start the actual monetization. This is when it will show what kind of job you did growing the accounts.
