I need some advise

Well to cut a long story short ranked number 1 by accident on local search a while ago, still at number one today the niche is car sales

Never done anything offline but thinking I could approach local firms and charge a recurring payment for them to advertise or be redirected to their site.

Any tips on this what to charge or how to go about approaching - dont want to mess up as not many car sales companies in local area (cant take that many knock backs without running out of clients)

I read a great thread on here a while ago about a guy doing this with dentists in the US - (im UK based)

Thanks in advance chaps

You can charge like $500 a month i would say maybe more but if there isnt much competition in the area anyone can rank for that keyword very easily.

How much traffic you are getting and how much adwords or other search engine charging for that keyword in top rank... Combine both and you can have pretty good idea how much you should charge them... Also if some one got site on 2nd page they might pay you more then some one who is on 1st page. Don't try webmasters, go local knock knock

Also don't redirect traffic, you may loose your ranking use banner and recommendation like things...

if your bringing them enough $ then they would be willing to pay more for the ads they have on your site.

Paid leads: Call forwarding with tracking.

Mind you, this would be a little more challenging with car sales.

One approach would be, "To book your test drive time, call XXX-XXXX".

Just call the firms, tell them you live in the city and wanted to start a site to help all the car salesman there out.

Tell them you are ranked first for anyone searching the city for cars.

Also, tell them that if you put them on the site, and they pay you X amount per month, and DON'T see a rise in sales, you will refund.

Might lose a couple, but not more than you keep.

Hope this helps.
