I did OkCupid awhile ago, it's actually not very good. The kind of guys who use the site aren't retarded, it's that simple. OkCupid is a completely free site so you get users who don't want to spend money on dating or whatever, they already have a free site that works great for them.

I created about 30 accounts and had a bot that would just sit online and answer IMs and messages. Didn't do shit in terms of conversions. I also tried manually answering a few and again, didn't do shit.. the users aren't retarded.

Oh and considering it was that bad months ago it's now DEFINITELY worthless since it's been posted here. The 1 in 1,000 guys on that site who might convert have already been spammed 500 times now I'm sure. I don't touch OkCupid anymore so it's not like I'm trying to protect my methods or something, just plain doesn't work.

P.S. The people who run OkCupid aren't retarded. They are extremely intelligent and will shut down all this bullshit by the end of the day I'm sure. One of the main focuses of the site is data collection and analysis which they use to create linkbait. For example, I recently saw an article from them showing that black people get like 1/10th the amount of responses and messages on the site than any other race even from other black people, etc, etc. All this spam is going to fuck with their stats and that is going to PISS THEM OFF.

Anything that is ever shared online will eventually get saturated and stop working.

So man up and either do it or don't, either way I don't care.

did anyone mention: make sure you put your own twist on this, think outside the
box and don't forget to rinse and repeat. i think those terms are under used in this forum.

exactly! this is one of the most sophisticated and well built sites i have seen. The way they match things, i actually am stopping this spamming even if it could earn me money because its just too nice

Like I said though, don't worry about it because OkCupid doesn't convert well anyway. I'm guessing the original poster was pissed off he spent a bunch of time trying to make money on OkCupid and it didn't work so he figured he'd try to get back at them by posting this thread.
