It worked for me, so i shared. Since its one reg per member and there were limited no of them available i suppose it got over and i couldn't check again.

Ok its working right now at the time of this post.
I went over and asked the guys at support and they said they are doing this to regulate registrations. They enable the coupon and disable it randomly or something like that.
SO go enjoy your reg.
 
They don't give ID protection though, and they bill that at $10USD, that's where they'll get you.
 
Few days ago I registered a 3.50$ domain through instant deploy. I regret about that because I have no control over my domain. Cant change DNS as we wish, cant have any access to Auth code generation and also have many problems. No reply for support request also. I have made a temp site on this domain because I know I will not get control over my domain.

So I will stay away from these WHMCS hosting and domain companies and only use any established and popular companies..

Last month got 2 free domains from gandi.net, then got 2 $1 domains from netfirms, then got another one 3.99$ domain from netfirms, got one 1.99$ domain from yahoo.

So avoid small companies and use any established companies for your domain and hosting purposes. Lookout for some promotional offers and register your hosting and domains using those codes..

Totally agree, DONT register valuable names with such offers.
Better shell out a little extra for peace of mind.
Btw in this offer you can change the DNS as far as i can see.
 
You mean I can change DNS on instant deploy?
I think so, I logged in 2 days ago and seen some options, but did not tried it.

There is some threads in DP saying about instant deploy scams. One guy have 100 domains there and he dont have any control over it now.

So I am afraid to do any promotion on my domain. It is pointing to my DNS after registration, so I have made a one page site on it and using it for backlinking purposes. (DNS given at registration time, but they also added their own DNS with mine.)

Funny, my domain with instant deploy saying it is registered on 1 & 1.
Also I have no control over Auth or EPP code. Without that, we have actually no control over our domains.
