Unfortunately, $1/domain does not negate from the fact that GoDaddy is a horrible domain registrar. I switched from them and never looked back.

Thanks for posting it though, as I am sure someone can get some use out of that :)
 
I like godaddy for start up projects. 1$ domain is pretty good :)

When a projects turns profitable, then u transfer to name or namecheap.

Never use godaddy for profitable projects, it will simply, fuck you up :)
 
i agree u better transfer ur domains after 1 year from godaddy

Why do you say that? I have quite a few domains with them and have not had any problems - but none of them are terribly profitable yet .

What problems have people had with them?
 
I'm not a fan of godaddy at all, but 1$ for a domain name is quite a good deal.
 
its not really $1 when you have to pay like freaking $10 for privacy.

That's why you get a Post office box. You can get one for as low as $42 a month,so with 12 $1 domains from godaddy a year its only really $4.68 a domain.
 
Can u use this for more than one site, so I could but 10 domains for 11.68 or is it only for one domain?
