1 domain 2 wordpress 2 sitemaps?

Hello I need solve 1 doubt..

I have 1 domain with this structure

domaindotcom --> 1 wordpress installation (personal site with good desing)
domaindotcom/blog/ ---> 1 wordpress installation (optimizated blog for seo, the best speed load)


I wanna known if is good this structure and if I can send 2 sitemap.xml..

someone can tell me?

Yes mate, for the second use only the Article, Pages and Category sitemap (don't make index the tags or authors). If you use a second sitemap for your subdomain google can udestand better and faster the content on your site.

Personally I would have just the one WordPress installation.
I would use a static front page and a blog page for the blog.
Simples.

I would never keep my personal site and my seo blog on the same domain.

I won't lose authority with a subdomain, in my case I have a subfolder no i subdomain... maybe exist a plugin to combinate 2 wordpress installations?

How did you deduce that it was a blog about SEO from any of the posts that have been posted so far?

I don't think that you need more than one sitemap with your structure.
It's no subdomain so for SE it will be one site. So you need one sitemap and one robots.txt.
You need to have 2 sitemaps with this structure blog.domain.com, because this is third level domain.

I am thinking to use my personal blog to rank some articles relative my job... then I am going to try rank the articles.

Why did you not just add a blog to your domain like everyone else does?

If you have shared hosting an start to get any real traffic there is going to be a helluva load on the server. W is already a resource hog, especially if you are one of those who use a lot of plugins.

Maybe WP muliti would have been a better solution.

Create a new page , named it Blog & another template page(home.php) name it Home
then go to the general setting, use static page for home page
and choose that blog page for all your posts

If you're sub directory you will generate 1 sitemap enough. Else, you're create sub domain for blog section you can go submit 2 sitemap on webmaster,..

I believe he does, Its not a part of the domain.com wordpress installation.
If he wanted a separate wordpress it might be better have be like blog.domain.com

Yea thats fine, not an issue though I would recommend that you use subdomains if you want to setup multiple websites on the same domain, that way, each subdomain could get its own existence on webmaster tools and could also be targeting different geographic locations.
