Is anyone here able to get one cent clicks in adwords? Can it consistently be done? I've read that some do it on the display network, but I've not been able to successfully do it.

I did it a few months ago, Had decent turn over rate, but it was for a free product, that I got paid for everyone that received the product. It ran for a while and always used low 1 2 3 cent clicks. never had a problem. Your CTR or w/e ya call it might suffer depending on what your promoting. Less money clicks, usually you dont get as high of a PR.

I used to be able to get a ton of 1c clicks using image ads however Adwords turned into right old grumpy fuckers lately. The reject most of the ads I previously had no problems with and it takes them days to review my image ads. Actually, most of the time it seems like they don't even bother to reject the ads they don't like so they are stuck as pending for months.

In theory it's allright, but you've got to find LOTS of keywords to drive trafic. Isn't there a limit to the keyword list?

Are you still running similar campaigns with other products? Were all of your campaigns utilizing image ads? At several cents per click, it seems like there should be profit to be made.

Yes... it works....

you just need plenty of keywords....

That may have been why I failed. My keyword list was only a few dozen, and in retrospect almost all of them were too competitive. I need to take another look at this again.

I'm not sure, but I have not reached the limit. Does anyone know the limit on the number of keywords?

Did you have to start with a list of hundreds or thousands of keywords to find just a few that you can get for that kind of price per click? I'm not sure about how to place an ad on any particular site.

Guys, please tell me:

Is that possible to get 1 cent CPC on content network targeting USA!
I used to generate thouthands of impressions some days ago targeting all countries and territories at 1 cent a click.
But for USA traffic the ads are just not running!

What difference does it make ater all between Worldwide and USA targeting in terms of bidding?
And how can I get 1 cent click for USA?

I think it will use for very rare keyword.. the keyword in high ranking being paid by business man or brand as high amount.. so probably your ad will not display in that but if you have different keyword which is not in competition.. then probably you can have 1 cent clicks as well.. but defiantly there will be low impression and low clicks..

I like to keep my adgroups to around 25 keywords. Then, you can have 2,000 adgroups per campaign. I've personally run over 350,000 keywords in one account without issues. That's usually about as many as I'll run in one account. My Google rep told me before that more than that and you really to do some optimizing or another account. I've been doing adwords since about 2004 and have spent something like...Let's just say I've consistently spent 6 figures per month for a long time. And have seen some hefty profits consistently.

I can tell for a certainty there is still great money in PPC no matter what anyone says. I'm getting .03 cent clicks in certain niches right now. I've seen them as low as .01 but I focus more on the landing page optimizing and rotating the ads to get everything performing it's best. You can save a ton of money doing that stuff. With really targeted keywords it's not uncommon for me to get a CTR of anywhere from 13-50%. My personal best was 74% for a term getting over 1,000 clicks per month. Once you do that your cost goes way down and the ranking will stay if not climb. I do it by ad rotation testing 3 at a time. I write new ads once I've hit at least 100 clicks per ad and have a significant difference in CTR/Conversion. Setup conversion tracking or you are wasting your money. Make good use of the different match types, localization of keywords and negative keywords.

If you do your keyword research and think outside the box with a heavy dose of testing there is some wicked amounts of money to be made still in PPC. I love it when the "gurus" tell everyone PPC is dead. It just means more profit for me. :) A couple of years ago when the Google slaps were going on and the "gurus" started the Adwords is dead thing I was driving about 10,000 leads per day and loving it. Don't believe the hype. Everything you need to know is on this site. Now go take action!
