I am sure there a many threads about using articles, writing them, rewriting them, etc..
My question is what is the BEST possible way to utilize ONE-1 100% completely original and unique article that is 550 word count?
Thanks

It depends on what you want to do with it. A high quality unique article would be good to place on your own site...
Or submit it to the best article directory if you're after backilnks. If you want money there are places you can sell them..

pureoctane,
Yes, this is going up on my site, but if I post it on a few other sites for backlinks, will that affect the one on my site in any way?

Also, how would you check the content of the article. Its 100% unique, but that does not guarantee that it will looks unique to google.

yes, you must post unique article to other sites and another different article to your site.. IMHO

Would it be a good idea to post a SNIPPET of the full article on another post pointing to the full article on my site?

post the article on your blog and wait until its indexed.
Then spin and submit it to a bunch of directories.
Next bookmark it on every bookmarking site you have accounts
Use spun copies as content for web 2.0 sites you own.
Rewrite the article a bit into a press release
Make a copy of the article into an ebook and submit it to ebook sites
Turn the article into a video with some the article text and some images and post on various video sites.

Excellent, this was a great way to use one article, and this is exactly what I will do! :)

Rather than creating a new thread, what's people's thoughts on submitting a spun article to GoArticles?

I submitted near enough the exact same article to GoArticles that I'd put on my website and had already been indexed.
GoArticles accepted the almost duplicate article and Google indexed it.

But, I'm thinking I may have just got lucky.

What's people's experiences with GoArticles > Google and duplicate articles being accepted and indexed?

Copyscape is the industry standard for this kind of task. You have to pay a little fee, but it's worth it.

So if you spun an article to be x% unique and then put it through Copyscape and it came back as unique, you're pretty good to rock and submit the article to the likes of Ezine and GoArticles?

Absolutely, as long as it's 85% unique from any other content found online it will pass Copyscape. You're then good to go and can submit to the directories.

If you don't want to pay for Copyscape you can always upload your content to a Blogger blog and publish it, then take the url of the published blog post and paste it into Copyscape. This way you won't have to pay for it. Just make sure to delete your blog post after you copy the url.
