IMATA...very well said We have been doing this sort of promotion now for the past 6 months.

Think about this, if you put good content on squidoo that links to your money page or site google will add a little extra weight to your page because it likes google. You may even get some traffic from your lens.

Now...submit and article to ezinearticles or hubpages and link it back to your squidoo lens as well as to your money page. Your squidoo lens (which google classifies as authority...or so they claim) has links coming to it from other high PR sites that google likes.

You just added more authority to your lens that can be passed on to your money site.

This is just the start of what needs to be done...think about what would happen if you interlinked all your high PR web 2.0 sites. High PR sites linking to high PR sites link to your money page.

Please help... I thinking of doing different niches and submitting to Ezine. Problem is, how can I link my different landing pages for different niches? As far as I know, resource box is fixed, meaning you can only link to one site at a time.

Does it mean that I need to open lots of Ezine accounts for different niches? Is there a way around this?

^^ No, EZine Articles allows up to 3 resource boxes (12 if your a Premium member) to be stored. Your also able to create custom resource boxes for each article as well.

I'm all about diversifying but if you are new to article marketing you may want to focus on one niche while you learn the ropes. A lot has already been said on this thread about article marketing, like posting your articles to other places besides ezinearticles.

Another thing you should be aware of, most article marketing professionals have their process mapped out and running very efficiently. The chances that if you spread yourself across different niches you will be unable to be very effective.

I learned this the hard way.

When I enter a niche I will create a minimum 10 content packages. One content package allows me to create many articles with at least 50% uniqueness. I submit these to multiple article sites and web 2.0 properties.

After that I use SEnuke to bookmark and ping all those submissions. All of them are linked together so that each one will help support the others.

Then I have a few blog networks we submit that content to linking to our money site as well as the web 2.0 submissions. There are a few other things we do but this is the gist of it.

I'm telling you this so that you know what the competition is doing. I love article marketing because once you take over the top spots its pretty easy to maintain as long as you continue building links.

Sorry to hear that. Did the offer have an expiration date you could check or was it just pulled by Hydra ?

Don't remember if I told you about this, but it's always a good idea to use a domain/subdomain redirect to your affiliate page just in case this happens - or if you just want to change or discontinue offers for whatever reason -. You then look for another offer on the same or different network and that's pritty much it.

It's also a good idea to build a list, although I admit I usually don't do it for subjects I don't care much about - there are easy ways to do it, though, I'm just too lazy.

So, what are you going to do ? Were you ok with your results till the time the offers were pulled ?

Sorry at my rage back then, I wasn't expecting the offer to close that soon because it was one of the top converting offers at Hydra.
It was just pulled by Hydra ITAMA.

I guess I'll have to remake the landing page with new offers of the same kind. Hope the CR is as good.

I'm currently using Tracking202, so it creates a .php page for each offer, I'll have to change that.

An email list? Like a pop-up where they could submit their emails? That's a good idea on the long term. I'll have to look on how to do that. Thanks

I had one more sale today, so it has made a total of 210$ for article marketing.

And I've submited 3 more articles. I haven't had much time lately, I'll have to get back on track and do more keyword research.

Well, I still have 13 articles online.
A total of 1000 article views and 260 URL clicks to the landing page.
On ezinearticles "Article home", it states "Articles Published: 7". What does it mean?



BTW, I see that you prefer quality over quantity, right?
I've seen other people stating that it's better to have tons and tons of articles published rather than building all the backlinks and such. What do you say about it, oh holy article marketers? /o\ lol

Congratulations on your progress so far. A few things:
You mentioned the cost of BMD, IMHO, it is an investment in your business and will be well worth it as you will make your money back. As IMATA and others mentioned here, you want to create backlinks for your articles and this tool will give you an additional way to do that.

If you follow IMATA's suggestion "follow intelligent comments on related blogs" to get more links, get Fa$t Bl0g Finder to help you find related blogs and leave relevant comments. Try to anchor one of your keywords whenever possible.

Finally, the offers that were pulled, did you check to see if some of the other networks you may already belong to have the same offer?

By email list I mean any way you can keep in contact with your customers/prospects by means of an autoresponder or feed. I don't rely much on pop-ups, although there's a particular kind of software that makes them unblockable. I just mention my list everywhere ( both email and feed versions ) as part of the content. Integrate it as you do with affiliate offers. Mention one or two specific benefits the reader would get by joining that are closely related to what they are reading - or an in-depth solution to what you're writing about -. That's the more natural way to do it imo, and it works for me. As you know, you can also offer some free stuff too as bonus.

There are many ways you can go with this, just don't throw crap and offers all the time. You can even make it evergreen and almost hand-free with Public domain, articles you add some coments on, PLR stuff, news you get by feeds yourself, etc but I'm not in love with that approach. If you're interested in this, tell me and I'll tell you a bit more about what I do in niches I'm interested in ( only 2, actually, but hey ... )

Yes, I personally choose quality over quantity. Then again, if you know your numbers and outsource, you can do both. This is for 2 reasons:

1- It's personal: Nobody likes wasting time reading worthless stuff, right?

2- It's respectful, long-term thinking. You can build customer relationships if you provide value. You can even make it viral ( all good content is at least a little viral ) and even JV with other list/
site owners down the line. Links will come more naturally with time even, and you worry less about your content being deleted or sth.

This doesn't mean you should be afraid of selling, or that you should have a phD on every subject, but at least know your subject, check what problems or doubts your customers have and address that.

I'd like to read the opinion of others on this, though.

I contacted my Hydra Affiliate Manager the other day and she said the the advertisers were having some technical difficults and that the offers are only on hold.

Meanwhile I made 2 more leads
One of 30$ and another of 28$.
Total of 91$ this month and since I started Article Marketing 271$.

This was actually pretty good, since I was watching two items on ebay and the bids are going higher than I expected : p I think this will be the first time that I'll use IM money to buy stuff for me, I always reinvest. However I'm not spending that much, the two items are on a total of 28$ +/-.

And I'll be ordering many more articles

I've had a total of 11 leads till now, and I've ordered 33 more articles. When I receive my January Payment I'll outsource even more from different sources.

I've also joined all social bookmarking websites in SocialMarker.com and submited a couple of articles. It takes some time.. I guess I'll have to outsource that too when I have enough money to every article.

I'm also getting a Squidoo Lens to attract more people to the website.

I m glad to witness your success dude, I think so far this is the most motivating thread on the blogosphere earnings field for newbies, is not like those other stop reading and take action now threads, this is a live example of your process from the scratch and I think you deserve a thanks for letting us know and also give an input for those still in doubt either to start or not with blogging.

Great to see you're doing so well ! My first couple of months doing article marketing I didn't earn enough to buy a domain ( and I mean a .info domain ).

Just a couple of suggestions:

- Whenever I can, I try to change a bit titles and descriptions from the different bookmarking services. I read some time ago Google seems to be counting uniqueness on this stuff too, and I find it very plausible. One thing I do so as to not waste too much time is submit with a mass submitter first, and then go to those services I find to be more powerful ( like Digg and Propeller ) and tweak submissions a little.

- Right now there are a few services that don't allow Squidoo and Hubpages to be submited to them ( Propeller is one of them, unfortunately ). Just so you know.

- Don't worry about your page going away from the top 20 results. It happens a lot with new pages, and then they usually come back. I just keep updating, submitting and especially getting links. Don't panic and spam, though. If you keep building a good resource, sooner or later they'll come back.

As I say there, I have not tried this technique on a massive scale as it is suggested by the OP, but I've gotten some good links from this. Maybe you could try it and give us your opinion here.

That's great. I've done some whitehat article marketing myself, and of all of the articles I have written, only one has ever worked, but it has made me about $1k in the last year. It's all about keyword research and luck.

In a matter of fact I had opened that thread, however I'm not using a blog.
It's just an ordinary landing page, with 3 short reviews.

I guess I'll have to rewritte some of the articles and put them on a blog and accomplish that.

My domain name keywords were the ones that I searched for and had 80million results, I guess that helped a lot too.

Also - FYI everyone - if you have a regular html site that isn't a blog, just create an rss feed for your site (lots of free software out there you can use to do this.) Then your html site becomes a blog in Google's eyes, and you can then hit all the blog topsites Boosey recommends as well as submitting it to rss feed directories, plus people can subscribe to your feed to view your updates, etc.
