Now Last week I was at the Discovery Channel Silver Docs and a dude ego hit me. He shared that he directs, writes, markets and organizes all the screening HIMSELF. Now the funny part is, he uses his membership sites to market all his projects...dude boasting of billing ONLY $75k per month...(for him its ONLY...that was my annual salary when I quit my job to get into online punishment)
I have been looking at membership sites for years to fully understand what gives the momentum or what keeps people coming back. This past weekend, I ran across a membership site that has over 1.6 million members who pay each month....YES that number hit me so I am now in the what-the-HECK-mode. Now I am not gonna get caught up in what they are doing, because I really see that it was not alot. It was the market...they target a foreign market and alot of people may not know that the foreigners are more eager to learn about the US than 90% of us who live here.
Anyways, my question is simply: What are some of the best and worst or most bizarre things that you have been able to get ppl to pay you every month for?
I have a lil concept in my head but....WHAT HAVE you guys seen that really work?

IF Fuzzyyellowballs can get people in India, Australia and China to pay for lessons in Tennis on the WEB, If Eben Pagan can teach people who to get dates and If Dr. John Maxwell can get over 300,000 christian leaders to pay him every month, man I have to be able to find something that I can teach people.
Help me to see some concepts...what's been the most bizarre or inspirational or out right crazy concepts that you have seen and WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT IT?
