Honestly I looked through the account and didn’t notice any patterns... I feel like he actually has a backdoor to instagram servers.

Me too, I think he's using a backdoor to Instagram, somehow he got unfirewalled IP. where he can get responses from Instagram due their updating system. I agree with you %100.

Because I've been using the following with failed attempts:

1: login then comment using their Public API. "Got blocked after 200 comments requests".
2: login then comment using Android private Instagram API . "Got blocked after 15 comments requests".
3: login then comment using 3rd party apps such as Hootsuite, AgoraPulse, Sprout Social, still getting blocked.
4: login then comment using Cookies, and using residential botnet IPs. still the same..

I am pretty sure he got a vulnerability. am still digging.

You realize that if you share how its done everyone will do it and instagram will patch it right away right?

Honestly theres a ton of possibilities. I believe though that he has direct access to whatever bans IG and simply hides his IP
 
You tried switching ips every request. Trying few things hope it works.
 
This method is insane. i got 100 followers in 1 min with just 1 comment.

Haha at first I thought this is nothing special, since there are people offering mention service out there. Then I realised all the comments are made from his account. Amazing.
 
Maybe guy who is doing this discovered some glitch. He is IT expert for sure, maybe he would like to get job at IG, but how to get such job? Spam IG at massive scale - thats what he is doing now. He dont get any profit from what he do, only attention, he wants to get attention from right person. He just tagged some of my spam accounts, im sure this method will be patched very soon. Anyway he could make maybe low-mid xx thousands USD a day with this method, why he is not doing that? He wants something different than $$.
