It is really rough when you get scammed. Thanks for the heads up and sorry that this happened to you. Whenever paying for programming type work, always do it in increments. 25% when this functionality is complete, 50% at a certain milestone, etc.
 
I hope the people who know him on the other forum give us his real ID and he's caught.

I'm so sad about your situation, OP. I hope you find a way to replace that cash.

Yea always doing milestones now usually 20/35/45. Its ok still flying on my way, nothing can stop me especially some little scammer..

Thanks Bartos. Hes still going on BHW. Just got some PMs from some more people saying he scammed them, hes changing names left and right. Paypal refuses to do anything besides hound me for the money.

You link your own bank account right? You use your real details to make it right? I also stuck like this and bank call me and ask to pay it. I ignore them and they send me a notice :( Then i had to pay negative balance to save my other savings on other banks. They can hold all money i got till i agree to pay that amount. So i suggest you to call paypal and pay 30% 1st and pay 70% after you got some money

yea thats what i think im going to have to do. i found the forum hes on with people that know him but they wont let me sign up. at least ill never make that mistake again we learn, but i still think this guy should be brought to justice.

Never pay more than $100 upfront to anyone on net. Hope you cover dmg soon. Then you can think a way to get him :) Also don't defend on bots because sites updating too fast and they patching. Even if you get a sweet bot there is a big chance it stop work before you cover the cost. Good Day Bro :)

wow, ya when I hire a techie job i always pay after, but i go through elance or something of that nature with escrow
 
i really hate this kind of guys... i hope he get caught as soon as possible
 
If you have been scammed by this guy, send me a PM with proof. A client I had a project for that he was supposed to complete has four law firms working for them who are willing to take action on this case. If he is in fact overseas, he will be indicted to the US. I am willing to help out anyone who provides solid proof to stack up charges against him to keep him locked up as long as possible.
 
Also, Please add your E-Mail/Phone # with the proof. After the deadline is up for the site and no refund is made the lawsuit can be filed. If your going to contact me with proof, please do so by Oct 31st.
 
I've been scammed three times in my life, this sucks. Hope you get him and he stops scamming people.
 
I've been there many times and I know it sucks. Hopefully it gets fixed and you get your money back.
