Hey, how much would I be able to receive, conservatively for an exact 1.2 million keyword?

Say, with a decent amount of ads, etc. The niche is unoptimized too, so I'm going to flood the first page with sites.


Could you give me a general figure on what I should expect on a monthly basis for this? Pretty popular term too.

That is what I expect with all the keywords, but you can receive 80% too ;)
 
that's easy 12M a month if they give you $10 everytime they search for your kw
 
I doubt 12M. But, say with a decent keyword that gets like, 1 MIL hits. What would the average person make with advertising.

I'm not selling anything on the site, might in the future, but it's not setup that way yet. Will take a while.
 
It really depends on how generic the keyword is, ie: dog vs buy dog colalrs
 
pretty generic, and the insights shows a steady search. It's a seven letter word. a craigslist ad and youtube video in top spot.

Very few possibilities, i suggest you edit your post. No worries i won't be your competitor but you may want to keep your niche a bit more discrete.
 
Atleast 500k is possible, that is $0.50 a person which is not that much, if you can make your site a membership site, well lets just say you will be really well off lol
 
I meant one word search. But it doesn't matter. I'll just say it's 'dog'

No one will find it, it's so amazingly random. lol...
 
Not sure how to cookie stuff, I just meant with things like adwords, adsense, clickbank, etc.

Your Earnings will depend on many factors...

If you are using Adsense/Similar Platforms the most important factors would be :

Visits - The Amount of People that view your website
CTR - Click Through Rate - What % of people that visit your page click an Ad
CPC - Cost Per Click - How much you get paid each time somebody clicks on an Ad

To Calculate how much your Earnings would be use the following Formula:

VISITS x CTR x CPC = EARNINGS

If you get 100 visitors a day, 2% CTR and a 1$ CPC you would be making 2 $ a day = 60$ a month.

With 1 000 000 Visitors, 5% CTR and a 0.5$ CPC(High-Traffic KWs tend to have lower CPC) in theory at least, you should be making around 25 000$ a Month :)

Just trying to get a general consensus of what to 'expect'

Wondering if i should dedicate a LOT of time into this, or just treat it like niches that get like 50k exact, and just cash in on ad's the same way.

The subscription idea was definitely something I'm going to go ahead with.
Thanks for your post above, I'm familiar with CTR % and such.

Google's giving me a very large number for estimated clicks.

Well I did gave you an example situation... You can get anywhere from 100$ to 100 000$ a month depending on the niche is my answer...
