Install it manually, doesn't take more then 5 minutes. Type it up in Google, that's what I did.

you can upload your wordpress manually with filezilla or something, totally oldschoo.

They told me it was allowed but you needed to install it by yourself, one click install is only if you upgrade

000webhost sucks bro.

They will delete your site for whatever reason they see fit.

If you are gonna use free hosting, go with

Code:
http://www.freehostia.com/

I still got shit hosted there that I forgot I even had..lol
not to mention they allow pretty much anything.

Has anyone had any bad experience with 000webhost

You will run away from them as soon as you get your first money. :) They are slow and not really reliable, but you get what you paid for.

Just install it manually.

I was disappointed at first too when I did this option, but the installation process is really easy and quick. It's just a matter of uploading the files to the server, finding the admin login page, and then creating the admin account for the blog. Then done!

it was my first ever host when i was starting and they suspended my account when i start getting organic traffic. stay away from them, you'd be better of using blogger/blogspot.

This isn't true. I done some testings and i couldn't believe it. This free hosting is faster then my own server! None of my sites hosted on 000webhost was ever deleted (they are all for earning money of course). Also you should do backup once in 2 weeks, just in case.

I never had a problem with free hosting.

http://www.freehosting.com

and they have fantastico One click install .

I haven't had a problem with them !!

I'll throw a +1 towards freehosting.com mentioned above. Just signed up, seems OK, easy WordPress install through Fantastico. Have my website up in minutes, and I started this thread 20 minutes ago with no hosting or website.

Can't say anything about reliability and service or anything like that, I'm just doing this temporarily, but super easy and love the Fantastico.

Signed up on freehosting yesterday and they looked fine so i moved my 000webhost wordpress site there. Then i met a first issue, while my images would upload properly, the wouldn't show up on my website. Sadly i'm new to wordpress and i spent hours on google trying to find a fix for this. Then while messing around on the file manager i found out that the issue was with the file permissions.

I was pretty proud of myself and happy that it finally worked, but that's when the real trouble started.
I have been getting the following error all day "PHP/Perl script handler is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
It happened at least once per hour and lasted for several minutes. A quick google search for this error brought up their facebook page as the first result.

Another free hosting that I've been using for some time (now I bought my own hosting, but still have a couple of sites there, and used it for learning, etc) is Xtreemhost. Seems good, haven't had any problems with downtime and stuff... It doesn't have one-click installers though, but still it's easy to upload WP manually...

Many years ago. I have over 5 sites deleted for no reason. They followed the TOS perfectly. It was years ago and until this day I have no idea why it happened. Your files are simply not safe there.

Wherever you have hosting, paid or free, it's useful to have it backed up so it's capable of being quickly reinstalled elsewhere should there be problems with the host, or the host makes unacceptable changes their policy.
