hi,

im using a simple python script that can download entire youtube channels.
i used google plus to bulk upload these videos to my channel.
so basically i just "cloned" another persons channel on AUTOPILOT

the problem is that im not getting any views to my videos.

why is that?

if somebody helps me i will share my method to up/download 1000 videos a day.

i mean if 1 video would get like 1000 views in a year or so this method would be extremly lucrative.

Your thread gave me a grin.
Your issue is the fact that you are about 6 years too late...

Lol, so you steal all videos? you will get banned soon.

Make around 20 backlinks by submitting on social sites.

what changed during thr last 6 years that made it stop working?

I find it strange that you are asking this, since you essentially concluded it yourself - you are getting 0 views.

Anyways - to put it even clearer:
Everyone and their mother started doing this.
YouTube became way stricter towards copyright infringement, spamming, low quality videos and mass uploads in general.

Youtube is getting stricter so I am sure that this is why you are not getting the views. Give it time and I am sure that you will be banned for doing this.

This is a stupid method, See all the work you are doing? Just make your own videos. Stupid

It's all about SEO. Your videos will not appear in search for a simple reason:

"the same content is already UP and has a higher rank"

So if someone is looking for one of your videos, they will get the videos from the guy you copied it, cuz he has the same name, same tags, same description, but better ranking. So 100 tries out of 100, the user will click the other guy's link. To get them up, you need some good SEO for about 2 months (between us, you can't afford it right now) and the channel will go up in rank in google and youtube search. If you go high enough, you steal all his views. But if you steal it, he will report you and you will lose your channel.

I can get some of your videos on 1st page of youtube search, depending on content. Costs 100$/video, but i cannot guarantee he won't report you for stealing his content. Let me know.

I disagree. That's only your perception. And then you reinforced it within yourself over time. That's a discouraging post and I would rather discuss ways this can work versus the ways it won't.

I'm guessing your channel was penalized because you uploaded so many videos. Normal people don't do that. Try uploading in smaller batches.

Getting views is easy. Search the forum.

Give me that python script and I'll help you some more :D
