0 backlinks

Here is what I have been doing and I still have 0 backlinks. I, for the life of me, cannot figure out what's going wrong.

For the past good 3 weeks or so, I have been running No Hands SEO daily. For the past 1 week I've been running SEnuke X campaigns and Scrapebox daily for blog commenting. However even after all that indexing, my backlinks count is still 0.

One good thing though is I saw a pickup in visits to my site and I went up about 5 rankings (Rank 6 now) for a low-medium competitive keyword.

I know backlinks aren't everything but I would at least like to know where I'm going wrong. Thanks!

Are you pinging them for fast indexing ? And how you are checking backlinks ?
 
I have the same problem...I've done 10,000 and I have 2 indexed. uu t eff
 
I've used SB Rapid Indexer for my links, still nothing. I'm using Traffic Travis Pro to check my backlinks. With SEnuke X and No Hands SEO, I'm still getting nothing. :confused:

P.S. If anyone can help me out personally with SB or SEnuke to see where I've gone wrong, PM me. If everything is resolved, I will update this thread with my solution, hopefully it can assist in those who have the same problem as me. Thanks!

Any tools that rely on YSE ( and this is most of them) are not going to be reporting correctly any longer. YSE is going the way of the dodo bird so everyone is going to have to come up with a new way to check links.

What you can do is add something unique to your content or the usernames that you can search for to see if the pages/links you are building are getting indexed.

When creating your articles add in a phrase that little or no results when you do a search in quotes. Then you can do a search for that phrase to see if your pages are getting indexed in Google.
 
How many keywords are you targeting? Are you adding content as well to the site? Should I assume the site is new with no authority?

This is correct, there are very few backlink checkers that are even half reliable that rely on search engines for their results. Almost every day I get an email from a customer asking why NHSEO claims X backlinks and yet this backlink checking tool says they have 0.

It is never a good idea to base your results on how many backlinks a search engine chooses to claim you have but your rankings in those search engines. As the different linking pages are found by NHSEO they will be pinged automatically so each new link is very likely to get noticed by the search engines quickly by default.

Also it is important to note that in all but the least competitive of niches results will not be instant.

You are doing nothing wrong, you work on SEO and you are seeing results (good rankings and more visits), continue like that. Use ahrefs, it will probably show you your backlinks.
 
Some times your back links will not show up in G, that does not mean they are not aware of them or that they do not count for your site/page. However, back links are pretty much everything when it comes to ranking. If you are just doing SB blast for back links I would suggest you get other types of back links other than just one type. i.e.; bookmarking, wikis.. etc..

You may be using to many keywords per page also, try to stay at around 4-5 keywords per page. Meaning, build back links with 4-5 keywords as your anchor text per page. That may help you some.
 
Just tried majesticseo and I have 694 backlinks to my main page!!!

I've been adding unique content (not spun) to my site weekly or bi-weekly. Currently targeting about 4 keywords. Yes, the site is about 2 months old. Recently, a competitor just came up and his site is 100% MFA.

I have read that about NHSEO, but it has been around 2 weeks, so to not even see 1 backlink indexed, is a little disappointing. Nevertheless, I'll keep the program running.

Could you elaborate more on ahrefs? I understand the tag but how should I use it? Thanks

I'm use SEnuke X as part of my strategy. I've been keeping my keywords to around 4-5 too, I think I'll try MajesticSEO as suggested. Thanks.

I have seen my backlink count go from over 6000 to just 900 in a couple of days. Yahoo site explorer is either really cutting back on backlinks and filtering them heaps, or its just because they are going to close this service down completely soon.

The new thing to try is http://ahrefs.com that what balsagoth007 was talking about when he said to use ahrefs :)
 
**UPDATE**

MajesticSEO tells me I have 645 external backlinks
ahrefs.com tells me that I have only 30 external backlinks,

Something irrelevant here but even though my rankings have gone up, my traffic is still on the low end. I am using Adsense for monetisation but so far there is only 1 click. I noticed that the ads are mostly irrelevant to my niche. Any suggestions to improve that?
