0 backlinks

I don't understand. I've had these two websites for about a week and a half and neither of them are showing any backlinks on backlinkwatch or SEOquake (well a couple from wordpress or w/e but nothing that I've done). I've made lots of high pr forum posts, and high pr blog posts. I've done a couple 1000 blogengine scrapebox blasts with them (with about 100 sticking each time). I put those urls that stuck in a couple rss feeds, submitted them to RSS aggregators + social bookmarking sites. One is showing about 200 links from yahoo, the other is showing about 150. What am I doing wrong?!?

Maybe you mistyped the url of your website when you made the backlinks?

haha that would blow to do a bunch of work only to find out you had a typo... hope this isn't the case!

I've been having similar problems. For example, I can go to google and enter "dr-dogberts-seo-boot-camp.com" and it will show 1,000 references. But when I check the actual number of links it has recorded it says something like 3.

It seems google and the other engines are going through some major changes in how they handle these things.

So if you did 1k+ links and you see 200 and 150; right? this seems fine as (1) it takes time for all of them to be scraped especially if you did hundreds of PR NA with scrapebox.

It takes time for the links to get indexed. You should just randomly check whether the links added by you have been indexed or not. If they have been indexed, they will show in backlink check.
And I suppose you know how to check whether the backlinks are indexed or not right? Just put the link url in google and see if it returns the page or not.
