I've created several different accounts using different IP's, following them then checking their notifs.

As in when I follow, they don't get a notification I followed them, if I like their tweets (etc).

I did a test with this theory. I created a new account and SMS verified it. I got 5 of my accounts (using my mobile so on my home IP) to follow the new account. Only 1 account came up in the notifications. When I followed using this new account, it was visable to all my accounts via notifications.

This may sound really dumb but for what purpose what that be good for?

It's very rare you can find a good piece of software to do this, I spent months trying to find a good yet cheap solution just for a DM. In the end, I settled for using Statusbrew/Unfollowers and pay a certain fee a month.

Completely depends on content you create, the niche you're in and the video exposure you have. There is no "defining" number. I know people who have snowballed at 3k, some at 30k and some at 300k - it's an element of luck in that sense.

I do auto DM's to all new users and my tweets are "human like" (no spam links). I do upto 200 DM's and 3 automated tweets per account - this has never caused an issue.

500 per account, I tested 550 this morning and 1 out of my 6 accounts got SMS verification.

They've changed something, unsure what that is. I can run up to 500 followers on 6 accounts - but as soon as I tried to bump it up to 600 to test the limits; instant verification on 4/6. I'd say start with 400, gradually move it up each day.

In relation to this - I found a solution. I only have 6 accounts so it works well for me - statusbrew. Whitelisted API meaning no limit on follows per second.
