It's strange because they are not spam bots. They don't write anything or do anything. I don't even understand the point of these fake accounts or what value they provide to the owners of the accounts

I agree...but its a pretty good approximation...most of my follwoers with no profile pic are pretty suspect...its the closest thing thats a first pass to identify some highly likely fake accounts

I did find an app for the iphone called "Cleaner" which seems to work. Its the only app or software that seems to allow bulk blocks...

I am unfollowing people and all of the sudden i am receiving pop ups that read ""This message contains content that has been blocked by our security systems. We restrict certain content and action to protect our community"" Is this the way they throttle unfollowing?

yes the follow button becomes inactive and it throws errors to FL. My account was also 4 years old when i first started a bot on it...

Do you have any idea if you cool off if the algo throttle goes away..or will it now be on my account forever? Just wondering if anyone has experience with getting throttled and then getting out from under it...

I have to agree now...but it was fine for months....and happened out of the blue...so trying to get what the consensus is to basically try and get these accounts to cool off and start with a good plan...
