here's a point where you're mistaken a bit - ig has limited the access of third party apps to all users who have liked the photo. these kinds of programme can only see 160 users who liked your photo. if you have more likes than 160, then you will be running a significant chance of blocking...

with long delays: 60-90 seconds I got a ban after about 450 unfollows. the slower you go, the less is the likelihood I guess.
