I was looking into this and I think I might outsource to odesk for really cheap. Are niche sites dead? Should I focus on semi authority sites?

I have a generic domain, it's kinda of like z e g t i c . c o m as an example, it doesn't relate to anything but it can be branded to a certain thing. zegtic content writing, zegtic web hosting etc.

I have 15 dollars to spend online and need some reccomendations on what to invest it in. I have a domain and hosting, it's a generic brandable domain so it can be used for anything really.

Thank you for the quick reply, I've been looking into silos and they do seem to work. You cut your back linking by 90% . Good on page seo seems to be enough with silos. I'll definitely hit you up on skype, maybe we can bounce ideas or something like that.

Thank you all for your help, Im sorry I did not reply I've been busy coding a theme and I a buddy of mine gave me a plugin that interlinks the pages by silos and not willy nilly. One more question how do I effectively add the privacy page and about me page ?

Thank you for the reply, but the problem is that my keyword competition is big health sites that roughly have 1 of my keywords in the title. I dont have to compete with any niche sites.

Could anyone give me some starter tips, I have 2 good domains with low hanging keywords. The pages I have to compete with are pr 0 and kinda irrelevant. Can anyone give me some tips?
