Such an interesting post. Just what I needed to hear before venturing into the IM world from the content world! Thanks Tommy! Hope to hear more from you soon! :D
Thanks for this tip. Im trying to learn about SEO keywords. So far I only use them in the articles and blogs as directed by the client. But a deeper understanding would definitely help me do a better job!
You really gotta decide what you want here...Im not an SEO expert but as many experts say 700-1000 would be minimum but then that really is too long for a reader. What I recommend my clients is to break it up into two parts and let the reader decide if they want to continue reading to the second...
I plan to do the same (not travel site though) but I would not suggest to break up the traffic. Monetize with affiliates and adsesne for now and then branch out or split later if you have to.
Start with optimizing the page, get good posts in it and be regular, ask ur friends to like it first, then start photo commenting as everyone suggested here, promote your page in the similar groups but don't spam them....no one likes spammers....probably then start with ads once you have already...
Great post....Another thing to add...I generally break a 1000 word blog into two parts of 500 each more like a continuation series. Works well for me and my clients.
Anything less than $1/100 words and you are compromising a lot on the content. Rather pay that money and get a good consistent writer and get authority content to get more readers to your blog/website.
