"Internet Money Making" stuff will have extremely high refund rates (99.9% of it is crap), while you can also get a lot of refunds, if the product is bad. Yep, my eBook reached #1 in Health & Fitness (one of it's subcategories) and #2 overal. However, that didn't translate into too many sales. After a few weeks, the sales died out completely. :-/ I'm not in this business anymore, but there is potential, for sure.

How many eBook per pen name do you release? I always thought it's good to have as many books as possible under one pen name so you can cross promote them better. I also thought that if you have an Author Profile set up, it should help with rankings/sales, but it seems that Amazon ranking...

Would anyone care to share some numbers (for eBooks in English language)? How are you guys doing so far? After a stellar start, I'm now at 1-2 sales per day with two published eBooks.

Keep sharing with us what's happening. It stopped for me also, after getting 8000+ free downloads (in 3 days), dozens of 2.99 USD sales, and now all is dead.
