There are many bots that have account checkers included, just search around, "youtube bot account checker" you're bound to get some results - I have 3, so yes, they do exist. To answer your other question, yes, use proxies, very HQ proxies - Private proxies if you can afford it.

Most use a view exchange or resell - the people who resell usually are buying from someone using a view exchange. There are some more BH methods... but they are kept pretty much on the DL.

Use bit.ly or href - They still count views from popular link shorteners, you don't need to get fancy with it.

200,000 views is not a lot for a promoted video. I have done 1.4m in 4 days before. And, as mentioned, him getting banned doesn't help you any mate haha, unless he's your competition, get used it people promoting their videos.

Great list, to expound just a little bit for everyone (on the services I have used): U2bviews - great site, views aren't too fast, but a good ratio, check it out Enhanceviews - Max of 250 views / request and they cost a lot of credits, much better to use for likes / comments etc than views...

The number one thing is to have a good title and good tags (and not too many of them), after that, just get views, as many as you can, then the organic views will come, and you will get leads.

As it was already pointed out, I would like to second the idea that YouTube views are purchased to get your videos ranked higher in YouTube's search results, thus getting you more organic traffic later, the views you purchase just need to be high quality, but not with real people watching them...
