Everyone talks about an app. What difference would an app really make? You can put a shortcut on your home screen and it is almost like an app.

Not really what you're looking for but Alison.com has lots of free courses. If you're looking for a PDF course from a smaller site typing site:domain.name fileype: pdf in the search bar can sometimes be helpful. It's amazing how many websites don't protect their PDF goodies.

I've had the same problem but I don't know the reason why they do it. I was just using my theme's default email form. Switching to a mailchimp form seems to have stopped them.

Depends on your audience. I really like Facebook for an older audience. Unless you are going to outsource, I think you need to have a natural affinity with the social media that you use to get the best out of it. Even though I know Twitter will work for my niche, I've never felt at home with it...
