I've wondered about that but I've asked around and no one else seems to have been affected by BERT. I should also mention that the site isn't deindexed, but "coverage" in Search Console started falling on October 12th.

FYI, you can't really trust Ahrefs' organic traffic stats. I have a website that has averaged 9k-10k unique visitors a month for the last year and Ahrefs estimates it gets 20 visitors a month.
