    Becoming an Amazon affiliate

One more question I have thought of - I still need to decide whether to choose the US domain or the UK domain. I would like the site to rank well in both the US and UK, but I'm not sure if the UK visitors would just assume it is a US website because of the US domain. What are your thoughts...

    Becoming an Amazon affiliate

Thanks Danny1, I'm going to read through the full thread, and thanks for that link - I can see talk about a plugin for doing this, that would make things so much easier.

    Becoming an Amazon affiliate

Danny111 - I just had a quick read over the first page of your Amazon thread. Do you promote your Amazon sites to several countries? As for creating the script, how would this be done? Will I need to hire someone to code it for me?

    Becoming an Amazon affiliate

If any of you Amazon affiliates out there have some tips or advice on anything to do with being an Amazon affiliate, that would be helpful. The main thing I'd like to know about is, if I sign up to be an affiliate on the Amazon UK site, and my affiliate links are for the UK site, would a US...

Getting started with affiliate marketing - any advice?

Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of doing a couple of different sites on different niches - both would contain a couple of clickbank products, and a good number of amazon products. Does anyone else do this? I was also thinking about doing a review site with amazon products based on a...

Getting started with affiliate marketing - any advice?

Thanks for the tips. What is your opinion on going in to a competitive niche? It's a niche that I'm very interested in and have learned a lot about.

Getting started with affiliate marketing - any advice?

Hi, I have an ecommerce site which was hit by penguin update in april. This is currently my only site. I have learned from the penguin update, and from fellow members on here that having one website can be a disaster! So, I will be spending less time on my ecommerce site until it recovers, and...

seoguy81, thanks, I wasn't aware that there are plugins which do this. That's good as it will make the process much easier.

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all of the input. I've decided to keep the site running, but not spend all of my time on it. I'm going to spend a few hours a day on that site, and spend the other few hours each day creating new sites. I have tried affiliate marketing a couple of years ago, but...

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

Thanks for the advice. I'm not sure what you meant by the last part, as if the penalty was transferred to the 301, then it probably wouldn't be a good idea to start again on a new domain and 301ing the old domain in case it happens again?

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

raticals75: I'm in the baby market and unfortunately the forums in this market don't allow any 'selling'. This means I can't refer to my website on the forum because it is a site where I can make profit. I can't think how to get around that.

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

redrubies, Thanks for all of the ideas. I've had some fliers printed, but wasn't sure what the best thing to do with them is. My ecommerce store is in the baby market, so maybe I would be best handing some fliers in to local clinics and and community centres which hold classes for new mums. I'm...

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

redrubies: Unfortunately my online store was started at a time I wasn't in a good financial position, but I'll see what I can do in regards to placing ads etc on related sites. Thanks for the advice. seoguy81: Thanks for the link, I hadn't checked the seroundtable blog for a few days, going to...

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

seoguy81, thanks, great advice again. I've not been using any software, and definitely won't be in the future. I've made my backlink profile look more natural and been doing guest posting and social bookmarking - hopefully the site will see big improvements very soon. I know that no-one knows...

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

Thanks alaltaierii, I've been doing mostly guest posting and social bookmarking, making sure I vary my anchor text with the majority of the anchors being natural.

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

seoguy81: Thanks for the advice, my problem is though that if this goes on for much longer, I won't be able to continue due to financial reasons. Unfortunately I might have no option soon.

Penguin: Anyone else feel like givng up?

I think the reason my site was hit is due to lack of anchor text diversity, but I'm sure my anchor text is diverse enough now. Still sitting on that 49th page though. Do you think we need to wait on a refresh to see any improvement, or do you think we are able to improve any time without a...
