Is it really beneficial to blast wikis?

im just curious, why would i get penalized if i blast a ton of wikis? if i start off my seo campaign with wiki blasts, it couldnt really affect my site ranking, which is non-existant right now. lastly, should i focus on .edu and govt wikis if i decide not to blast all the wikis on my list?

Is it really beneficial to blast wikis?

oh wow, you make sure your wikis are unique from each other? i have a list of over 100k, that would take forever! anyway, i may go with your advice of only sticking with EDUs and maybe govt wikis.

Is it really beneficial to blast wikis?

So I am going to be launching my website soon, and I want to implement a fair amount of SEO. Since BHW offers a ton of resources, I have a list of over 10k wikis. Although I'm sure most are defunct, 1k legitimately working wikis are definitely valuable. I plan on writing 10 quality articles...

CAN-SPAM compliance for random email lists

of course. my website is a financial media application that can predict the stock market with reasonable accuracy. basically, ill try to scrape emails from sites like wallstreetoasis, stock market forums, things of the sort. i assume it's a good idea in principle, but is there risk of any trap...

CAN-SPAM compliance for random email lists

as blackhat as it may sound, would i more or less likely be safe if i scrape well known blogs and stuff for emails? in my mind, it seems unlikely that many trap emails would be subscribed to bigger blogs.

CAN-SPAM compliance for random email lists

Interesting, there's some good information in this thread. Think I'll first write a script to determine which emails are active and which arent. After that, I want to be able to see if there are any honeypots. Is there a web service or a program that can filter through honeypot email addresses...

CAN-SPAM compliance for random email lists

The concept intrigues me, but there's no way I'd be able to sift through thousands of emails to see if any are complaints. Maybe send the list an email that's like: Please reply to be removed from this email list which is used to distribute online services. something like that that makes it...

CAN-SPAM compliance for random email lists

Ok, all this makes sense. But seriously, how is it legal to buy/sell or trade email lists? That implies that the email owners subscribed to newsletter X, but not newsletter Y, which just purchase X's email list.

oh man, that isn't good news. im trying to build out a brand name, and i want to market it as aggressively as possible. fake emails and random bank accounts wont do me any good, because theyll still know my domain, which is my brand. is there any way to check if an email address is double...

CAN-SPAM compliance for random email lists

Hi guys. Long story short, I got my hands on about 1.5 million emails. They are all random, but I am pretty sure that they are mostly US emails. I only intend on sending a few emails to this list (probably 2 different ones with 2 follow up emails for each different email). I also intend on...
