I apologise. What I meant was that someone used my tool to manually shorten their URL. Then they spammed social media by publishing plenty of comments containing the shortened URL. That's my guess anyway since I can't check it. Analytics just says that a ton of traffic came from social media and...
Sure. I'm mostly interested in covering the expenses so I don't lose money on it.
I agree. Unfortunately Google Analytics just says "social media". The most visited URL redirected to a porn video and the other top four was leading to a domain that isn't active any longer. I'm guessing someone...
Many years ago I created a URL shortener that gained some popularity and I made some good money with AdSense until one day when it stopped showing ads. After a few weeks I tried Chitika but 560 244 impressions just gave me $1 so I removed it and went ad free. Today I logged in to my old...
Well, I have the blog network URLs and don't care much about them since I only want the target URLs.
mybloglife.network.com (redirect) => domain1.com
photodelicious.network.com (redirect) => domain2.com
What I've got:
mybloglife.network.com
photodelicious.network.com
What I want, so I can do...
I recently stumbled upon a list of 1000 d0foll0w blogs using their own domain on a blog network. I've got the xxxx.network.com URLs but want the domains they redirect to so I can do a PA/DA checkup. Is it possible to do this automatically somehow? I could open every link manually in my browser...
I like the idea and did a raid on another blog network earlier today for several PA40+ blogs with 20-30 linking domains.
The question is how I best use them since I've only got one authority site (don't want more) and wouldn't really benefit from creating fake blogs linking to my sites...
People love data and there's plenty available for free online - ready to be tortured and presented in visual graphs. Popular examples are XKCD's radiation chart, a map over the U.S. with states replaced by foreign countries with similar GDP, trend lines for baby names and visualization over how...
Unfortunately Buzzsumo only show last 12 months so you'll miss a lot of content.
How do you get all pages for a domain? When doing a regular site: search in Google, one of my competitors has 540 pages indexed. At the same time, OpenSiteExplorer list 4418 pages from his site. I guess you can...
I uninstalled and installed the plugin several times while restarting Scrapebox in between. Now I downloaded the latest version of Scrapebox from the website and saved it into a new folder. Unfortunately it still says 2.0.0.25 as latest version in the plugins window.
No one else having the same...
I'm not sure how it works with updates so this might be a stupid question but I just updated Scrapebox to the lastest version and I've tried restarting a few times but it's still the old Automator plugin. Server version in the update window still says 2.0.0.25
What do you reckon to be the best method to get page value before commenting? In the past I've used Pagerank but it's rarely updated. Thinking about going the Moz route to get page authority but it will probably take forever with the free API.
I've done a lot of research last few days but it's basically the same tools:
Moz
Link-Assistant Rank Tracker
Advanced Web Ranking
Unfortunately all of them cost a small fortune. I tried to find them here and on other sites but it seems there are only Windows versions published and they are far...
I'll have a lot of spare time this spring so instead of jumping from one tool to another - I'm looking for a handful of effective and safe methods to market a new authority site.
So far I've got:
- follow/unfollow people to get noticed in social media.
- mention people on Twitter when they use...
Yeah, but as I mentioned in the opening post - I've automatically reblogged posts and inserted my URL resulting in hundreds of new followers every day. Now, I'm guessing I'll only get a fraction of that since there's no mention of me in the chain. Sure, I'll get a link when adding new posts but...
Major change by Tumblr. Previously, I've managed to get a few hundred daily followers by simply adding links when reblogging. Now they've decided to prohibit this kind of behavior.
Any thoughts about this? I'm afraid that this change will result in a major drop in new followers.
Thanks. I did some searches but it seems all of them will unfollow people I'm already following.
Any recommendations? I sent them a message asking if it's possible to use a filter but no reply yet. Unfortunately I can't see the options before paying for a pro membership. I probably will in the...
My biggest competitor has exactly the followers I'm looking to get. Therefore, I'm wondering if there's a simple method to follow all of them without having to scroll through the list and follow manually? There's roughly 10.000 of them so I guess that could be a major problem. I'd also like to...
I've heard a lot of good things about Reddit driving thousands of visitors within 24 hours to good blog posts. However, I don't want to come off as to spammy. Is there any other obvious methods?
