Are you blogging or making money? If youre really going to be dedicated to blogging than go with new domain, if youre just doing it to make money, than just subdomain. But it also depends on what the blog is about.personal or a certain topic

Yea if you have videos than visitors dont look at the site but just the video. i got 1000 visitors a day on my site and get from 5-10 clicks a day (.90cents) so that could be the reason.

I get about 1000 visitors a day 90% from google search for main keyword im ranked 5th-6th. in 1 month something is coming out and there will be thound searches for it so im not looking for traffic im looking to rank better.
